Just for the record: if you are a woman and you have a big car that you’re scared of driving, DON’T DRIVE IT! Or, if you really want to drive, practice on smaller roads first so you don’t become a nuisance to the other drivers on the main roads! Also, please STOP at stop signs! Oh, and be a dear and try to not run over pedestrians? Okay? Thanks so much!
Yes, yes, I am aware of the irony and the hypocrisy. I am a woman too! I also know that it’s almost always the men who speak this language. But, maybe there is some truth in what they say. I am not going to be stereotypical and say that ‘all’ women can’t drive but I am quite sure that most of them can’t, especially those in big four wheel drives! I just don’t understand why.
You maybe wondering where this burst of road rage induced feelings came from. Well, the other night my friend and I were walking towards our cars and this car almost ran us over. Who was driving, you wonder? A woman, of course! And, yes you guessed it: she was driving a land cruiser!
I am not saying that I am a perfect driver, but I can honestly vouch for the fact that I’m one of the better ones! Knock on wood. All I know is, if you don’t know how to do something and you really want to learn, why not try elsewhere? I mean, when you start cooking and learn to make a new dish for the first time, don’t you just cook it for your family? You don’t throw a big banquet to debut your cooking skills, do you?

So please, take this into consideration before getting out on the roads. A friend of mine once told me: “One time I overtook the woman, only to find her looking at herself in the mirror. I thought, ‘Hey that is a good looking woman. I bet she would look even better sitting in a bus.’”
Therefore, for the sake of women’s reputations everywhere, please drive carefully!
Yes, I know, I might alienate a few women readers but bear in mind: some women are extremely good drivers! But some of them should not be allowed near a vehicle!
